Jerome L. Greene Hall: 435 West 116th Street 

  • The main Law School building is located at the northeast corner of 116th Street and Amsterdam Avenue, is open Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. With an activated ID you can access the main building at all other times. Your ID card will allow you to operate the elevators outside normal hours.

  • On the ground floor, you’ll find large classrooms, the Information Center/Mailroom, student mail folders, and bulletin boards for student organizations. On the third floor, there is a classroom, Lenfest Cafe, lounge area, computer workstations and the main entrance to the Arthur Diamond Law Library.

William and June Warren Hall ("Big Warren"): 1125 Amsterdam Avenue

  • This building is located on the east side of Amsterdam Avenue between 115th and 116th Street. It contains most of the business and administrative offices of the Law School, along with classrooms on the first, fourth and lower level floors. In the lobby, there is a coffee and refreshment vendor. This building is shared with Columbia Business School.

William C. Warren Hall ("Little Warren"): 410 West 116th Street.

  • William C. Warren Hall is located on the south side of 116th Street, across from Jerome L. Greene Hall and to the east.  ID swipe access for entrance and elevators is needed at all times.
  • It houses Columbia Law Review, Columbia’s in-house legal clinic (Morningside Heights Legal Services, Inc.), the Human Rights Institute and classrooms.

Other buildings:

  • Greenhouse School is located at 404 West 116th Street between Morningside Drive and Amsterdam Avenue. It houses all other law reviews and journals.

  • 605 West 113th Street is a building that houses the Social Justice Initiative Department, which includes the National State Attorney General Program. There is also a Visiting Scholars’ workspace.

  • Jerome Greene Annex is used for conferences and events.  Enter through Wien Courtyard on the north side of 116th Street, just east of Jerome L. Greene Hall.
