Time & Labor and Absence Management (TLAM) System for Students

The Time & Labor and Absence Management (TLAM) System has replaced paper timesheets used by all student casuals. In the online system, you will be able to enter your hours worked and submit to your manager electronically for approval.

The Process
  • After submitting your hiring paperwork to the Human Resources department, it will take approximately 5-7 business days for your profile to be active in the MyColumbia portal.
  • Once active, you will be able to see the "Faculty & Staff" tab, which will grant you access to complete your timesheets and enroll in direct deposit. The available timesheets will be determined by your start date, however you will only be able to fill in the last two (2) bi-weekly pay periods from the current pay period. If you have time to report prior to this time frame, please email the Human Resources department.

Any concerns regarding reported hours or pay received should be directed to your individual department administration.

For additional guidance, please reach out to the SEAS Human Resources Administration, [email protected].
