Yoga@Work is a challenging yet relaxing yoga experience focused on increasing flexibility, strengthening mind and body, and improving range of motion through postures, breathing exercises, and relaxation and meditation techniques. All levels welcome.  This program is offered through a partnership between The Office of Work/Life and the Dodge Fitness Center.

Important:

  • Spaces are limited to just 15 participants, and spots will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • Please ensure you can attend all or most of the six sessions, as each class builds on the previous one.
  • Yoga mats will be provided for your convenience.
  • Dress in comfortable, yoga-appropriate attire to fully enjoy the experience.

Instructor: Lily Amirfazli is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-200) at Columbia University’s Dodge Fitness Center, specializing in Hatha and Vinyasa yoga practices. With a focus on cultivating mindfulness, Lily integrates meditation and breath control into every session, offering a holistic approach to physical and mental well-being. Beyond the mat, Lily is pursuing a Master’s degree and works as a Research Assistant at Columbia University.
