SEAS Staff Zumba Series Brings Energy to the Workday

As part of Columbia Engineering’s continued commitment to employee well-being, the School launched its first-ever SEAS Staff Zumba Series this spring through its Wellness in Full Bloom initiative. Building on the momentum of previous wellness offerings, the program introduced a high-energy and community-focused opportunity for staff to incorporate movement, fitness, and fun into the workday.

The four-week series featured weekly sessions led by instructors Alua Samat and Tiffany Holt at the Dodge Fitness Center. Open to all experience levels, the program created an inclusive and welcoming environment where staff could step away from their daily routines, recharge, and engage in movement through music and dance-based fitness.
